Since 1991, Sean McCleery has been writing and producing music for a variety of clients, including fortune 500 companies, national parks, television, film, and radio. As one client put it, “he can say a lot with notes.” The ability to evoke a response, a mood, or an emotion through his music is what makes his material so usable. His experience over the past 20 years covers a broad spectrum of styles, including large orchestral writing and arranging, jazz and blues, classic rock, new age/ambient, and various types of world/ethnic music, plus a large catalog of others. Classical training in composition has helped him create pieces which the heart feels and the mind understands. In addition to writing for libraries, he has also done quite a bit of custom scoring for corporate, commercial, government, and non-profit agencies.
