Raised in Canada, and living in New York City for over a decade, Lionel Cohen has always found expression as a musician, composer, producer, painter, photographer, writer, graphic designer and short film director. Throughout his prolific career Lionel has written and recorded music in a multitude of styles that has resulted in over 70 albums. Recently Lionel's career has been has been primarily focused on Film/TV/Commercial composing. His commercial works include Sony PSP, Cadillac, Buick, Glenfiddich, Carslberg, Verizon, Odwalla, Sharp, Louis Vuitton, Walmart and Macy's, to name a few. He has composed music for television shows for MTV, ABC, NBC, Oxygen, Canal+, Discovery, Showtime, Biography, NatGeo and countless independent films, including The Homeless Veterans Coalition, Stiff Luv, The Vinyl Frontier and The Pool.
